Eşivo: two plates, one shared symbol
Eşivo is a free game of quick eyes for the browser. Every hand-painted pottery plate carries eight symbols: a tulip, a pomegranate, a tea glass, a simit, an evil eye bead, a seagull, a ferry and fifty more. Any two plates share exactly one symbol, but it may be big on one plate and tiny or upside down on the other. Spot the symbol your plate shares with the middle one before anyone else and tap it. Send friends the invite link, play bots at three levels, or play a round in a wleeaf Play party, in English or Turkish.

How to play
- Look at the middle plate and your own: find the one symbol on both.
- Tap it on either plate. The quickest tap wins.
- Tap a wrong symbol and your plate cracks: you wait a second and a half.
- If nobody finds it, the symbol starts to glow; if still nobody does, the plate is set aside.
Three rounds: the tower, the well, the duel
In the tower the middle plate goes to whoever matches it with their own plate first, and becomes their new plate; most plates gets ahead. In the well everyone holds a stack: spot the match and your plate lands on the middle; the first to empty their stack ends the round with a bonus. In the duel everyone looks at the same two plates and each pair is worth two points. The three rounds add up.
Friends, bots and parties
Start a room and send the link: up to eight people, each at their own place. Seat as many bots as you like at easy, normal or hard. Taps are timed from the moment your screen showed the plates, and the server waits a moment for a quicker tap still on its way, so a slow connection doesn’t cost you a find. A friend who reloads the page is back in their place.
The potter’s table
Everything is drawn in the browser: a walnut table in the shade of a vine, the middle plate turning on the potter’s wheel, tile-patterned rims and the shine of the glaze. The light moves through the afternoon: bright, then golden, then dusk with the lantern lit and fireflies. The cicadas, the darbuka and the plucked strings are synthesised in the browser too.
Questions
Is it like the spot-the-match card games?
The same idea: any two cards share exactly one symbol. In Eşivo the cards are hand-painted plates, the symbols are its own, and there are three different rounds.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes, upright or on its side: tap the symbol with your finger.
