Sözivo: a word race with friends
Sözivo is a free word race in the browser. Each round everyone hunts the same hidden five-letter word at the same time, with six tries each. Your rivals’ coloured rows fill in live, but you never see their letters. Solve it fastest and in the fewest tries for the most points. Two to eight play, with bots or friends, in English or Turkish.

How to play
Type a five-letter word from the list and press Enter. The letters flip over one by one like a station board and take a colour: green is the right letter in the right place, yellow is in the word but elsewhere, grey is not in the word. A repeated letter lights up only as many times as the word has it. Use the clues to find the word in six tries.
Rules and points
- Solving scores 100, plus 20 for every try left over, up to 50 for time left on the clock, and 25 for the first to solve.
- Once someone solves it, everyone else has at most 60 seconds left.
- Race: most points after 3, 5 or 7 rounds wins.
- Royale: the slowest player is knocked out each round; the last one standing wins.
- Daily word: the same word for everyone, once a day; keep your streak going and share your result.
Friends or bots
Start against bots in one click, or open a room and share the link. Bots play at easy, normal or hard with a real strategy and at a human pace. Turkish words use the Turkish alphabet with Ç Ğ I İ Ö Ş Ü; answers are common, family-friendly words.
Controls
Type on your keyboard or use the big on-screen keyboard, whose keys show the colours you have found. On phones the board and keyboard fit the screen without the system keyboard.
