Harfivo: İsim Şehir Hayvan on a chalkboard
Harfivo is a free browser game of İsim Şehir Hayvan, the Turkish cousin of Scattergories and Stadt-Land-Fluss. A wooden letter wheel on a classroom chalkboard spins up a letter; everyone fills the same categories at once, the first to finish rings the bell, and the class checks the answers together. Two to six play, with friends by invite link or against bots, with English or Turkish words and no sign-up.

How to play
Each round the wheel draws a letter. Write a word starting with it in every category: Name, City, Animal, Plant, Thing, Country and Job come ready; add Famous person, Food, Brand or categories of your own. Nobody sees what you write, only how many boxes you have filled. Whoever fills every box can ring the bell and call “Done!”, and everyone else then has 5 seconds. Otherwise the round ends when time runs out.
Checking, voting and points
- Answers are checked against large word lists; case and accents don’t matter, and small slips are forgiven.
- Word-like answers the lists don’t know go to a vote: if more say no than yes, they are out. Keyboard mash and swear words score nothing.
- The only valid answer in a category scores 20, an answer nobody else gave 10, the same answer as someone else 5.
- At the end the winner gets a certificate of merit, with every round’s points and the totals in one table.
Friends or bots
Open a room and share the link; up to six join, and the host can add bots to empty seats. The host picks the categories, 3–10 rounds and 60–180 seconds a letter. Or start in one click against one to five bots at easy, normal or hard: they write at a human pace, sometimes pick the same word as you, and vote on doubtful answers. If you drop out, your seat and your words wait 30 seconds for you. Harfivo is also a round in wleeaf Play parties.
English or Turkish, on any screen
The word language is a room setting. English rounds leave out Q, U, V, Y and Z unless you turn on hard letters; Turkish rounds never draw Ğ. On a phone the letter, the clock and the bell stay on screen with the keyboard open, and Enter jumps to the next empty box.
Questions
Is it like Scattergories?
It is the same kind of game: one letter, a list of categories, points for answers nobody else thought of. Harfivo’s chalkboard, wheel and word lists are its own.
How many players?
Two to six; on your own, play against bots.
