Fethivo: a war of realms on an old sea chart
Fethivo is a free real-time strategy game for the browser. Every game draws a new archipelago: coasts in ink on vellum, compass roses and rhumb lines, forests, mountains and walled towns. Everyone plays at once; each realm starts from a harbour it chooses and spreads over the chart in watercolour. Troops grow from your land, your towns and interest on the troops you hold, and you send them into the wild, at your neighbours or by boat to far shores. Send friends the invite link, play bots at three levels, or play a round in a wleeaf Play party, in English or Turkish.

How to play
- At the start, tap the chart to choose your harbour; nobody can start too close to another.
- Tap the wild land beside you to expand, a neighbour to attack, or a shore across the water to send a boat. Each order sends the share of your troops set on the slider.
- An attack takes the cells nearest where you aimed first. Forest, hills and mountains cost more, and a realm’s land costs more the more troops stand behind it.
- Attack someone who is attacking you and the two forces clash: the smaller one is cancelled out of both. Towns bring troops and raise your cap.
- Hold three fifths of the land, or be the last realm standing, to win; when time runs out the most land wins.
Friends, bots and parties
Start a room and send the link: up to eight people, each with a realm. Add bots to the chart at easy, normal or hard; hard bots spread fast, pick on weak neighbours and sail for the islands. A friend who reloads the page is back in their own realm.
The vellum chart
Everything is drawn in the browser: the watercolour realms darken along their borders, land taken spreads like wet ink, boats trace their courses, and flags fly over the towns won. The davul, the zurna and the gulls are synthesised in the browser too.
Questions
Is it like the .io territory games?
The same idea: a real-time territory war. But the chart is drawn anew every game, there are towns and boats, and it looks like an old sea chart.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes, upright or on its side: tap to give orders, pinch to zoom.
