Deftivo: the drawing telephone game
Deftivo is a free browser game of telephone with drawings. Everyone writes an odd sentence in their own notebook; the notebooks move on, and players take turns drawing and describing. Then the album opens and every notebook replays page by page. Three to ten play, and bots fill empty seats.

How to play
On the first page everyone writes a sentence. Then the notebooks travel: the next player draws the sentence, the one after describes the drawing, and so on. You only see the page before yours, every notebook visits every player once, and nobody gets their own back.
The rules
- Timers: write 50, draw 100, describe 45 seconds, with faster and relaxed settings.
- When time runs out, whatever is on your page goes in; an empty page is filled by a bot, so the chain never breaks.
- Animation mode makes every page a frame, and the album plays as a flipbook.
- In the album you slap stickers on other people’s pages, and a favourite vote crowns the star of the album.
Friends or bots
Open a room and share the link. Practice is one click with four bots by default (2–9). Bots write their own sentences, draw what they can read in a sentence from a library of 236 drawings, and describe their own drawings; they never pretend to see a person’s drawing.
Drawing and look
Pen, eraser, fill bucket, five sizes, eighteen colours, undo and redo, with lines that swell and taper like ink. Shortcuts: B pen, E eraser, F fill, Enter hands the page in. The look is a school desk: a spiral sketchbook, a kraft cover, ballpoint-blue handwriting and a pencil that shortens as the timer runs.
Questions
