Fightungen: a puppet brawl in a paper theatre
Fightungen is a free platform brawler in the browser for two to six players. Jointed card puppets in hats fight across painted stage sets: a harbour at night, a clock tower, a snowy pass and a dragon’s rock. Punch, block and parry, dash, throw bombs and grab what the stagehands lower from the flies, then knock the others into the tide below. The last puppet standing takes the round, in English or Turkish.

How to play
Run with A and D or the arrow keys and jump with W or Space; jump again in the air, and jump off walls. J attacks: a jab, a cross and a kick that sends them flying; hold up for an uppercut, down in the air for a stomp. K raises a paper fan that stops hits, and raised just as a hit lands it parries, sending shots and bombs back. L dashes, U throws a bomb. The lower a puppet’s health, the further a hit sends it: you are out when your health runs out or when you are knocked off the stage.
Weapons and stages
- Parcels come down on strings: a sword with a quick three-hit chain, a heavy hammer that pounds the floor, a blunderbuss with a kick, a slingshot and a boomerang that comes back. Sacks hold more bombs.
- Every stage has its own trouble: a rocking boat and a paper bridge that tears, a lift and a pendulum blade, ice and gusts of wind, and dragons that breathe fire across the middle.
- Late in each round the tide rises (the sea, the cogs, an avalanche or the lava), so a round never drags on.
Friends, bots and parties
Open a room and share the link: the host picks the stage, the score to win and how many bots join. On your own, practise against one to five bots, easy, normal or hard. Bots dodge bombs, block, grab weapons and fight each other too. Fightungen is also a round in wleeaf Play parties.
Smooth online play
The server runs the fight and your puppet moves the moment you press, even on a far connection. If your connection drops, your place waits 30 seconds.

It is inspired by Stick Fight: The Game, with its own puppets, stages, sounds and code, and it runs in the browser.
Can I play Fightungen on a phone?
Yes, held upright or on its side: a stick on the left and buttons for hitting, jumping, blocking, dashing and bombs on the right.
