How to play
Everyone has four tokens in their base. A 6 brings one out onto your start square. Tokens move exactly the number thrown, once round the board and up your own home column. The first to bring all four home wins.
The rules
- A 6 throws again; three 6s in a row lose the turn.
- Landing exactly on a rival token sends it back to its base. Start squares and stars are safe.
- You need an exact throw to get home.
- House rules: a bonus throw for a capture or a token home (on), blocks (off), quick start (off) and a turn timer (off, 10, 15, 20 or 30 seconds).
With friends or bots
Open a room and send the link, or play bots on your own. A game ends when the first player is home, or with “all places” when one is left. Pulivo is also a round in wleeaf Play parties.
Controls
Tap the die, or press Space or R. Tokens that can move light up with an arrow; a ring shows where each lands and a red ring marks a capture. Tap a token or press 1–4. A single possible move is made for you.
What makes Pulivo different
It is a handmade stitched felt board in a walnut tray on a sunny oak table, with lacquered beech pawns and a maple die, drawn in 3D in the browser. Dice and moves are checked on the server.
